Vanvihar Tourist Complex

Chauda, 20 km from Silvassa is a scenic place ideal for week-end tour. Since there was no accommodation facility earlier, the Dept. of Tourism, UT of DNH built a tourist complex here to attract more tourists. The complex has 36 bedded luxury and Economic class Accommodation.

Adding little more attraction to the site, the department has also built a small check dam on the adjoining river Sakartod to provide boating facilities. The surrounding landscape is a blend of the beauty of forests, hills and river.

Tapovan Tourist Complex

Tapovan in DNH is the abode of Lord Shiva. The temple of Lord Shiva is located at Bindrabin, just 18 km from Silvassa. Thousands of devotees flock to the place, seeking blessings from the deity. Realizing the demand of the tourists, the department of tourism has built 3 Cottages, Restaurant and amusement park with fountains and well laid garden.
